all enthusiasts of toe wrestling please note that Ye Olde Royal
Oak is the international centre of this sport. Unbelievably true,
the official World Championships are held here every summer.
At other times of the year locals will be pleased to run through
the rules and tactics of the sport perhaps over a pint of 'Anklecracker',
an ale brewed especially to celebrate the importance of this
